There are plenty of caravan sites in Somerset — not many sit two minutes from a sandy beach, back onto beautiful countryside and still have a heated outdoor pool on site. That's what makes Country View a little different.
We're a family-run, 4-Star English Tourist Board and AA 5-Pennant site. Every pitch has electric hook-up — choose from double hardstanding or one of our 10 grass pitches for a more traditional feel. The facilities are kept spotless, the welcome is genuine, and Sand Bay Beach is practically on your doorstep.
We're a families and couples park — it's a friendly, relaxed atmosphere that keeps guests coming back year after year.
Everything You Need for a Great Stay
All touring pitches include the following as standard — no hidden extras.
Hardstanding & Grass Pitches
All hardstanding pitches are double — solid and level in all weathers. We also have 10 grass pitches with EHU for extra a traditional touring setting.
Electric Hook-Up on Every Pitch
Every pitch at Country View has electric hook-up included — plenty of power for your leisure battery charger, air conditioning, kettle and TV. Please note that EV charging via the hook-up is not permitted.
Free Showers & Facilities
Spotlessly maintained toilet and shower blocks, included in your pitch fee. Hot water on tap, chemical waste disposal on site.
Heated Outdoor Pool
Open through the season for all guests at no extra charge. A firm favourite with families — great for children with adults present.
Dog-Friendly Site
Well-behaved dogs are welcome. There's a dedicated dog-walking field on site, so your four-legged companion is well catered for too.
Games Room
Pool table and games room for all ages — ideal for an evening in or a wet weather afternoon.
Bar on Site
The bar opens Friday and Saturday evenings — a relaxed spot for a drink right on site, no driving needed.
Sand Bay Beach
Two minutes on foot from the park gate — a wide, gently shelving beach great for walks, rock-pooling, or just watching the tide.
Countryside Walks
Walk straight from the gate onto footpaths through open countryside. The Mendip Hills and Strawberry Line are both an easy drive away.
